Alarm/Events type reports.
These reports are VERY common in DCS/PLC type installations where at least one printer is constantly printing alarm on/off conditions and events on a line by line basis. This type of report is very different from the ones presented in the other examples by virtue of each line being a seperate report. Each line is completely selfcontained and the data has no relevance to any other line. There will be no data that can be used to identify the line/report (unlike in all the other examples) and very likely no Headers other than the report name. A typical example of this type of report is show below.
In order to process this type of report, the data needs to be preprocessed into a form that is acceptable to PrintFaqtory. This is achieved by the adding a small amount of code to the VB Extensions DLL. Click here for an example.
