Crystal Reports.

PrintFaqtory works on raw data. No matter how beautiful and colorful the original report may be, PrintFaqtory can only work with raw data and when reports are printed to PrintFaqtory as a network printer, all the formatting is lost other than what you would expect to appear on an old 9 pin dot-matrix printer. If the report is meant to be printed on a dot matrix printer (and over 50% of reports are) then there is no problem, if paper hardcopy of the report is required then PrintFaqtory can print the original report, click here for details. However, if hardcopy of the original report, in its original format, is required then the report has to be recreated (with ALL fields defined in PrintFaqtory).

If the original report needs to be recreated or a completely new report is required, then PrintFaqtory implements Crystal Reports as the preferred report designer/generater. The ability to print and preview Crystal Reports is built into PrintFaqtory. However if users plan to create their own reports then they will need to purchase the Developers version of Crystal Reports at approx. US$500. Alternatively we can produce the reports for you. Once the Crystal Report(s) have been defined, the printer needs to be selected for each report. From PrintFaqtory’s main menu select Reports>Options. The Report Options screen below opens. For each defined report, enter the Report Name and Destination Printer for the report.
