PrintFaqtory supports all versions of SQL Server from 7.0 onwards. SQL Server Desktop Engine is included FREE with PrintFaqtory (CD version only). The Desktop Engine is a full version of SQL Server but without the administration tools and limited to 5 user logins (PrintFaqtory uses one).

No special requirements are necessary for using SQL Server as the back end database for PrintFaqtory.

Note, if you have no particular preferences for which database to use, we highly recommend using MySQL.
