MySQL is the recommended database for WEB-FAQtory. Despite the (current) lack of stored procedures for MySQL, it is still several orders of magnitude faster than any other database. Coupled with its virtually nonexistent resource requirements (compared to SQL Server and Oracle), makes MySQL the logical choice of backend database for WEB-FAQtory.

The latest version of the MySQL database can be downloaded for free from here. Note, the Server install will automatically install and configure the MyODBC driver.
